Sanitation & WASH

Beyond water supply, MeRuWASCO is actively involved in sanitation and hygiene promotion across our service communities. We work with households, schools, and public institutions to:

  • Promote safe sanitation practices and open defecation-free (ODF) communities
  • Support community-led total sanitation (CLTS) initiatives
  • Facilitate access to information on household sanitation improvement
  • Partner with the County Government and national agencies on WASH programmes

How to Get a New Connection

  1. Visit our nearest office with your title deed or land ownership documents.
  2. Complete the new connection application form.
  3. Pay the connection fee as quoted by our technical team.
  4. Our technical officers will conduct a site survey and schedule installation.
  5. Meter installation will be done upon clearance of all connection fees within 14 working days.
